Sire – Hellbent

Four starts in Gr1’s never worse than fourth. He was very unlucky in 2017 William Reid & 2018 Oakleigh Plate. His form was impeccable in every G1 he contested. His recent win in the William Reid was unbelievable considering they slowed mid race and he had to come right around them. Craig Williams was astounded that he could finish so brilliantly considering the race didn’t really pan out for him.

G1-winning sprinter. Winner of seven races from 1000m to 1200m from two to five, and of more than $900,000 in prizemoney, including the 2018 G1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) in near record time; second in the 2017 G1 William Reid Stakes (1200m), third in the G1 Oakleigh Plate to Russian Revolution, Listed BR Crowley Stakes (1200m), Listed GH Mumm Stakes (1000m) and Listed Kensington Stakes (1000m).

In-bred 3×3 to Green Desert, Hellbent is I Am Invincible’s fourth G1 winner and 29th Stakes winner and is out of Volksraad mare Volkaspray who is from the family of 1963 Golden Slipper winner Pago Pago.

Lot 469 Flying Artie x Laylia

By sire Flying Artie – Australia’s highest rated 3YO sprinter in 2016/17

Flying Artie winning the Coolmore Stud Stakes

Flying Artie winning the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude

An Exceptional Juvenile – won the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude defeating Star Turn, ran a tremendous Blue Diamond running 2nd to Extreme Choice, and ran 3rd in the G1 Golden Slipper with Champion Capitalist the only colt beating him home. He won the Group 1 Stallion-Making Coolmore Stakes defeating the likes of Extreme Choice, Astern, Star Turn, and Russian Revolution

“Flying Artie was superb in the 2016 Blue Diamond, rating 102.3 in one of the highest rating editions of the race on record. To put that in perspective he would have won this years edition of the race and would have clearly defeated Pride of Dubai in the 2015 Edition” – Leading Australian Form Analyst Daniel O’Sullivan.
